Part 1: South Carolina Adventure Route
Hey there, fellow riders! It’s Kari here, and I’m excited to share our upcoming adventure with you. We’re gearing up for our inaugural ride on our brand-new KTM 690 Enduro-Rs, and what makes it even more thrilling is the trail we’ve chosen – the South Carolina Adventure Route (SCAR).
So, why this trail, you ask? Well, there’s a good reason. You see, I call Upstate South Carolina my home, and it just so happens that this stunning trail is practically in my backyard. It’s a hidden gem known for its great terrain and jaw-dropping scenery.
What’s even cooler is that we’ve decided to make this adventure extra special. Instead of simply hitting the trail, we’re going to work on and modify our bikes right here at my place in Upstate South Carolina. It’s a chance to bond with our new KTM 690 Enduro-Rs and make them truly our own before we embark on the Trans American Trail in summer of 2024.
Now, here’s the twist in our tale – my 2024 KTM 690 might not arrive in time for our adventure. But that’s not going to stop me. If it doesn’t make it on schedule, I’m considering the option of making my trusty KTM 300 XC street-legal because nothing is going to sop me from hitting the trail. I’ve been pretty bored here lately, i don’t have access to hours of single track from my driveway like I did when I lived in Verdi, Nevada.
So, buckle up, fellow riders, because this is going to be one great ride, and I can’t wait to share every thrilling moment with you. Stay tuned for updates, stories, and some hopefully some decent pictures as we conquer the South Carolina Adventure Loop together. It’s going to be an unforgettable journey, hopefully show Jager and myself some new parts of South Carolina, and I’m stoked to have you along for the ride.
